September is always a busy month. It’s birthday month. It’s back-to-school month. It’s a change in seasons month. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. No surprise that reading diminished significantly.
The standout this month was Too Much Slime! This was so much fun to read, which a lot of sound effects. I’d pair this book with a DIY slime activity to do some hands-on learning (and a playful distraction)!
Depending on how much reading is done in October, I may do another Halloween Round Up. If not, there will just be several spooky, thematic reads next month!
